How Does Close Only Handle the Death or Incapacity of a Creator?

Close Only has strict procedures to protect the integrity, privacy, and rights of Creators in the event of death, permanent incapacity, or temporary incapacity.
Because Close Only cannot detect such situations automatically, the platform relies on a close relative or an officially authorized person to report the situation.

1. In the Event of a Creator’s Death

If a Creator passes away, Close Only will permanently delete the Creator’s account and all associated content.
However, the platform cannot know about the event on its own.
A relative or legally authorized person must contact Close Only to report the death.

Required Procedure:

  1. A close relative must contact Close Only at:
    📩 [email protected]

  2. They must provide an official proof of death, such as:

  3. Once the document is verified, Close Only will:

This process ensures dignity, privacy, and protection of the deceased Creator.

2. In the Case of Permanent Incapacity

If a Creator becomes permanently unable to manage their account (medical condition, disability, severe accident…), the procedure is similar to that for a death.

Required Procedure:

  1. A close relative or legal representative contacts Close Only:
    📩 [email protected]

  2. They provide an official document proving permanent incapacity
    (medical certificate, legal document, etc.)

  3. Close Only will then:

This ensures that the Creator’s digital identity remains protected.

3. In the Case of Temporary Incapacity

If a Creator is temporarily unable to manage their account (hospitalization, medical treatment, temporary disability…), they can choose to pause their activity without losing their account.

How It Works:

Once the Creator has recovered and is able to manage their account again, they simply need to request reactivation and regain full access.
